We then worked in close partnership with our supplying manufacturers TT pumps and designed a system complete with separate valve chamber to enable both the new and existing pump stations to share the existing rising main leading off site to the main sewer.

We chose a package pumping station from TT’s range of BBA Approved polyethylene chambers to offer longevity to the installation, fitted with a pair of grinder sewage handling pumps to meet the high head requirements of the site.

Our team carried out all parts of the installation from civils to electrical and mechanical works and look forward to carrying out the routine maintenance of the equipment in line with the existing systems on site.

Blockfree Services were approached by Laceby Manor Golf Resort to design and install a sewage pumping station to serve the latest holiday lodge area to be added to the site. There were already two existing pump stations on site but these lacked capacity to handle the additional waste flows from more lodges.

Due to the long rising main length of nearly 2km, the client was keen to avoid the installation of a new pipe if possible. We fitted a flow meter to the existing rising main to monitor utilisation over a set period which helped us to identify capacity in the existing pipe.

Feedback recieved from site:

At Laceby Manor Resort it is essential that we are fully operational 24 hours a day to fulfil our guests’ expectations. The service that Blockfree provide us with is first class; nothing is too much trouble and during our resort development we wouldn’t consider working with any other company.
